Melinda has been in the salon industry since 1984, and has always had a vision of creating the ultimate work environment for stylists and technicians. That vision has now come to fruition, as Salone de Capelli.
Being a wife and mother of two, Melinda is concerned with the products we use on ourselves and our children. The choices we make, in the shampoos and lotions we use, can really make a difference. Capelli offers organic hair and skin care products, as well as fair-trade, organic beverages. It is truly a salon with "green" ideals.

Passionate about the art of makeup and how it can enhance a person’s natural beauty and confidence, Kristyn Taylor, an experienced makeup artist, has joined the Salone de Capelli team. Although new to the area, for the past 8yrs she has made her mark in theatrical, commercial, bridal, fashion and high end cosmetic venues. She is passionate about her health and using “green” products that will help and not hinder the aging process. She takes time to listen and understand her clients’ needs so she can effectively serve them and is willing to help you step outside the box.

Rachel Concannon Rachel is a graduate of the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, where she attended classes taught by Horst M. Rechelbacher, the founder of Aveda. Rachel’s esthiology degree provided skin care training with the emphasis on using pure flower and plant essences in treatments. She is an esthetician specializing in facials, make-up and waxing. Rachel uses Juice Beauty skin care products for her facials, which is up to 95% certified organic and has products available for every skin type, condition and stage in life. She also has certifications from Blue Heron Academy as a massage therapist and Kripalu School of Massage and Bodywork. Rachel is an educator for Mirabella Cosmetics. Mirabella has been named the top professional makeup line in the salon industry and has the broadest range of shades. Mirabella uses the Fitzpatrick System, which is a scale of color tones from 1 to 6 and includes cool, warm and neutral. |

A graduate of Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences, Susan has been in the medical massage profession since 2005. She completed a course in Massage Therapy Lymphedema and carries certification as a Massage Therapy Lymphedema Technician. She continues to study all avenues of massage to pass on to her clients. The massage experience is tailor-made to suit each individual client.
